Two best friends in their twenties navigate the messy reality of a "teen" pregnancy, the pressure of growing up before they're ready, and the struggle to hold onto the versions of themselves they've always known. One of them lives with maladaptive daydreaming disorder. Both love to hula hoop.
A dark, surreal, girly comedy, Hula Hoop explores the space where girlhood collides with reality and celebrates the friendships that keep us afloat when life refuses to go according to plan.
